Sodick Expands Sales Network in Germany: BG WZM Becomes New Partner for Key Regions

Sodick, the renowned manufacturer of EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines, is expanding its distribution network in Germany. As of January 2025, the company has partnered with BG WZM, who will represent Sodick’s machinery in key regions including Northern Bavaria, Southern Hesse, and Southern Thuringia.

Demonstration Machines Now Available

Currently, two Sodick premium machines are on display at the BG WZM demonstration center: the AL60G sinker EDM and the ALC600G wire EDM. Focus on Synergies and Customer Proximity

The partnership is designed to leverage synergies, with Sodick offering a broad portfolio of linear-motor-driven sinker and wire EDM machines, as well as innovative EDM start-hole drilling machines, particularly suited for tool and mold makers. BG WZM will represent and independently market these technologies in regions including Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Thuringia, and parts of Bavaria for sinker EDM machines. BG WZM will handle all customer support directly, from consultation and technical design to installation.
